The Bernice and Robert Gilbert Fund, held by Vancouver Foundation, was established through the estate of the late Bernice Gilbert. The fund was created to support a bursary for a visually impaired student in a post-secondary institution in B.C.
The Lisa Huus Memorial Fund was established in 1988 in memory of Lisa Pauline Huus, who was a third-year sociology student at the University of Victoria. A native of Victoria, Lisa graduated from Claremont Senior Secondary School in 1985 and
BCPF provides bursaries of varying amounts each fall to individuals with a spinal cord injury to support them with their post-secondary education at universities and colleges in British Columbia. Funds for these bursaries are funded through the foundation as well
Each year, our Society awards bursaries to people with epilepsy in BC who are entering, or are in a post-secondary academic, vocational, arts, technical or technological program. These bursaries can be applied towards tuition, books, on-campus housing, or other academic expenses.
