Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians Scholarships

The Alliance for Equality of Blind Canadians (ACBC) offers 3 bursaries of $1500 each to people professionally recognized by a health care provider as legally blind. To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a full or part-time post-secondary study, and be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants.   These bursaries are offered to students of all post-secondary academic levels and programs.

Criteria

The documentation required to apply is as follows:

  • A completed application form, including average academic grade
  • A cover letter describing the applicant’s achievements, academic and professional background, and professional goals
  • A reference letter
