Scholarship is a free resource for finding local senior housing in Canada. We provide comprehensive information on Retirement Homes, Assisted Living, Alzheimer’s Care, and Home Care in all Canadian provinces and we’ll guide you through the process of choosing right senior living options for yourself or your loved ones.

Since 2014, grants $500 Scholarship each year to Canadian students to help them in pursuing their educational goals! As a strong supporter of Intergeneration Equality, we at SeniorsZen believe that this initiative increases the connection between youth and senior citizens, while helping to bring awareness to the sweetness and the bitterness of aging in Canada.

Students who are legal residents of Canada and enrolled full time in a diploma, undergraduate or graduate degree program at any accredited Canadian college, university or trade school or high school students officially admitted to any accredited Canadian college, university or trade school (proof of admission is required).

How to Apply

Submit your 750-1000-word essay or one page infographic on the topic related to senior living in Canada. For example, you can write or create an infographic about multigenerational living, issues that Canadian seniors are facing today, retirement living options for your parents or grandparents, etc. References in any format are not included in 1000-word limit.

Submissions are accepted in MS Word format for the essay or jpg for the infographic, attached to an email and sent to editor [at]

IMPORTANT: Please send to editor [at] and reference “Scholarship-2018:[your LAST NAME]” in the subject line. The attached file name must include your first and last name. To be considered for the scholarship, the body of the email must include: Your first & last name, email address, phone number, university attending, planned graduation date. NOTE: You can’t apply unless you are officially admitted to the university as of January 31, 2018.

If selected, you will be required to provide a proof of full time enrolment in a Canadian accredited, post-secondary institution of higher learning (college, university, or trade school) and your photo that will be published along with the winner announcement on
